133 years have passed since Herbert E. Westervelt founded Prairie States Paper Corporation, and the tapestry that exists today as The Westervelt Company is as much the result of innovation as it is invention. It began with a patent on a grocery bag, and it continues with over 500,000 acres of land across the Southeastern United States.
We are an organization of people, and we value the contributions of our associates. Without their significant professional investment, we wouldn't be who we are today. Our teams of specialists have built seven distinct businesses where their expertise flourishes in robust, dynamic environments. Visit each of our business units' individual sites by clicking on their name(s) on our homepage.
As you can see in the "About Us" section that we remain supportive of many community organizations and causes. We are committed to our community, our city, and our country. As stewards we feel it is our responsibility to give back to those who have helped us create success over the years.
Don't hesitate to call if we can be of service.
