GAUSE JOINS WESTERVELT ECOLOGICAL SERVICES AS SENIOR ECOLOGIST

Sacramento, Calif. -- Matt Gause has joined Westervelt Ecological Services (WES) as Senior Ecologist. WES provides environmental mitigation and habitat banking services to land owners, private businesses, government entities and non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining WES, Gause was Vice President of Ecological Resources for Wildlands, Inc., and has a combined 15 years of experience in the environmental permitting, mitigation and restoration field.
Gause will focus on performing habitat and land assessments, wetland delineations and species assessments, permit and regulatory compliance, biological monitoring, and client support.
“I am excited to be joining a team who is committed to a collaborative and cooperative approach to providing mitigation solutions for their clients,” Gause said.
“Companies that are committed to, and have a proven track record in, land stewardship will enjoy the trust of regulatory agencies, and will be more valuable to the clients needing mitigation.”
Gause cited The Westervelt Company, the WES parent, and its 123-year history of land stewardship as key in the future of mitigation banking.
