Welcome to The Westervelt Company’s brand new website! 

Exciting things have been happening in our organization over the past year, prompting us to build a home on the web that consolidates all of our businesses under one address.

You’ll notice our new name and identity.  Our organization has seen much change in its 122 year history, and the name we had for nearly 90 years referenced a product and industry in which we no longer operate.  The idea of this change was certainly daunting, but through a strategic process we determined it was a challenge we were ready to tackle, and it has proven to be a rewarding exercise in team-building and associate involvement.

We are an organization of people, and we value the contributions of our associates.  Without their significant professional investment, we wouldn’t be who we are today.  Our teams of specialists have built six distinct businesses – some that have been “Westervelt” identified since their inception, and others, like our Lumber and Natural Resources divisions, that have changed their names and updated their images along with us – where their expertise flourishes in robust, dynamic environments.  Visit each of our business units’ individual sites by clicking on their name(s) on our homepage.

You’ll see in the “About Us” section that we remain supportive of many community organizations and causes.  We are committed to our community, our city, and our country.  As stewards we feel it is our responsibility to give back to those who have helped us create success over the years.
