SUMMER WILDLIFE FOOD PLOT SEED NOW AVAILABLE FROM WESTERVELT WILDLIFE

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Providing quality food sources is a critical component of a successful wildlife habitat management program. Westervelt Wildlife Services has teamed with industry giant Pennington Seed Company to produce custom food plot seed blends for both cool and warm season plots, and these blends are available for sale at www.westerveltwildlife.com.

Westervelt food plot seed was developed through field studies by Pennington Seed’s agronomists, and the experience and knowledge of Westervelt’s wildlife biologists. From a blend for upland game birds to a legume based-high protein summer blend for deer, Westervelt food plot seeds are custom blended by Pennington Seed and coated with GermMax for optimal germination.

Providing quality food sources for your wildlife throughout the summer is critical if you want to maximize the wildlife on your property.
Summer is a stressful period for wildlife in the Southeast, which is why we worked with Pennington Seed Company to develop custom food plot seed blends that grow well here,”said Dave Edwards, wildlife biologist with Westervelt Wildlife Services.

In addition to the heat, many biological processes take place in the summer such as fawning, milk production in does, bucks growing antlers, and young quail and turkeys growing. When planted, these seed blends provide much-needed nutrition for wildlife. Providing a quality food source for wildlife during the stressful summer is one of the best ways to improve your fall hunting, he said.

With a reputation for producing trophy deer, and a staff of talented wildlife biologists, Westervelt Wildlife Services offers consulting services ranging from property assessments to full-scale implementation of wildlife management plans for landowners across the Southeast.

It is easy to order online at www.westerveltwildlife.com. Shipping charges are determined per order.
